Multicolor near-infrared fluorescent Western blotting kit for simultaneous detection of two proteins.

WesternBright MCF-IR is the near-infrared version of Advansta's WesternBright MCF fluorescent Western blotting kits, allowing the assay of two proteins at once on a single blot using IR700- and IR800-conjugated secondary antibodies. By using dyes with different spectral properties, both targets can be visualized in separate channels simultaneously on a digital imager—for example, to assay a loading control alongside a protein of interest, or phosphorylated and non-phosphorylated isoforms of the same protein. The kit includes secondary antibodies, blocking solution, washing solution, pre-cut low-autofluorescence PVDF membranes, and background quenching sheets, so everything except the primary antibodies is provided.
