AdvanStain AO/PI Cell Viability Staining Solution is a ready-to-use, 2X concentrated combination of Acridine Orange (AO) and Propidium Iodide (PI), two nucleic acid-binding dyes used to assess the viability of nucleated cells. Simply add an equal volume of cell sample to the 2X dye solution and count using a fluorescent cell counter equipped with Ex/Em 480(30)/535(40) nm (AO) and Ex/Em 540(25)/620(60) nm (PI) channels. Each lot is formulated with a precise dye concentration to ensure minimal lot-to-lot variation and reproducible results.
