T4 UvsY is a recombination mediator protein that promotes loading and stabilization of UvsX on gp32-coated single-stranded DNA. It is used with UvsX, gp32 and a strand-displacing polymerase as a core component of RPA. The lyophilized formulation is supplied dry for assay development, storage and reconstitution. It is supplied as 100µg (2µg/µl), stored at -20°C, and has a stated shelf life of ≥ 24 months.
