AdvanStain Total is a fluorescent protein stain for PVDF and nitrocellulose membranes that provides sensitive, quantitative visualization of protein bands for total protein normalization of Western blots—now the preferred normalization method at top-tier journals. The simple protocol takes less than 20 minutes with no de-staining required, and is compatible with digital imaging systems equipped with a Cy3-compatible filter, including downstream chemiluminescent and IR700/IR800 fluorescent Western blotting.
