AGL1 is a hypervirulent Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain used to introduce binary vectors into plant cells, including monocot and dicot transformation workflows. The strain is supplied in an electrocompetent format and carries the pSoup helper plasmid required by compatible pGreen-derived vector systems. It is supplied as 6x50µl, stored at -80°C, and has a stated shelf life of ≥ 15 months.
