Cas12a nuclease is an RNA-guided endonuclease for targeted double-stranded DNA cleavage in CRISPR genome-editing and in-vitro cleavage workflows. It uses a Cas12a-compatible CRISPR RNA and generates staggered DNA ends at targets adjacent to an appropriate PAM. It is supplied as 40 µg (1600ng/µl), 250pmol, stored at -20°C, and has a stated shelf life of ≥ 24 months.
