The F-positive TG1 background is intended for M13 phage-display library construction and screening. The DirectPlate workflow is designed for direct plating after DNA addition, avoiding a separate conventional heat-shock and extended outgrowth step. It is supplied as 12x50µl, stored at -80°C, and has a stated shelf life of ≥ 15 months.
