Advansta's SpectraDye Secondary Antibodies are available labeled with a range of fluorescent dyes spanning the visible and near-infrared (IR) spectrum, in a variety of host/target species combinations. Each antibody delivers a strong signal with no cross-reactivity, and the dyes can be combined for two- or three-color Western blotting—for example, using anti-rabbit SpectraDye 650, anti-rat SpectraDye 550, and anti-mouse SpectraDye 490 together on a single blot. They pair especially well with Advansta's WesternBright MCF system (low-autofluorescence PVDF membranes, AdvanBlock-PF blocking buffer, AdvanWash/AdvanWash-IR wash buffer, and background quenching sheets) for a complete multicolor fluorescent Western workflow.
