GV3101 is an Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain widely used for binary-vector delivery, transient expression and stable plant transformation. The strain is supplied in an electrocompetent format and carries the pSoup-19 helper construct for compatible pGreen-derived vector systems. It is supplied as 6x50µl, stored at -80°C, and has a stated shelf life of ≥ 15 months.
