Hot Start Taq 2X Master Mix is a ready-to-use PCR mixture containing hot-start Taq polymerase, dNTPs, magnesium and reaction buffer. The hot-start format suppresses polymerase activity during setup to reduce nonspecific amplification and primer-dimer formation. It is supplied as 500 Reactions (50 μl rxn vol), stored at -20°C, and has a stated shelf life of ≥ 24 months.
