T4 UvsX DNA Recombinase

T4 UvsX is a RecA/Rad51-family recombinase that forms nucleoprotein filaments on single-stranded DNA and promotes homologous pairing and strand exchange. It is the recombinase component of RPA and is used with gp32, UvsY and a strand-displacing polymerase for isothermal amplification. It is supplied as 100µg (5μg/μl), stored at -20°C, and has a stated shelf life of ≥ 24 months.
