EHA101 is a disarmed, hypervirulent Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain used for binary-vector-mediated plant transformation. The thymidine-auxotrophic format requires thymidine supplementation, providing a nutritional dependency that can help control bacterial persistence after plant co-cultivation; cells are prepared for chemical transformation. It is supplied as 5x50 µL, stored at -80°C, and has a stated shelf life of ≥ 15 months.
