Stripping buffer for completely removing antibodies from chemiluminescent Western blots so they can be reprobed.
Advansta's Western Blot Strip-It Buffer uniformly removes primary and secondary antibodies from developed Western blots, allowing the same blot to be reprobed with another set of antibodies. The entire stripping protocol takes just 25 minutes, and the gentle, odor-free buffer removes bound antibodies without harsh reagents or elevated temperatures, so it won't damage antigens or membranes. It is compatible with both nitrocellulose and PVDF membranes and with most chemiluminescent detection reagents, including WesternBright ECL, Quantum, and Sirius.
